There will be no shutdown over a wall. And Tony is right. If the Mexicans are paying for it why does the American taxpayer have to front the money? Oh I know it'll all get paid back eventually, wink, wink. Try and sell that and the Dems will bury them with it. I think you have this backwards. If they fail to provide funding for the wall, they will be the ones in trouble. Of course, Trump has to get Gary Cohn and Jared out of his ear and start listening to the people who got him elected. If he makes the wall priority one, as he should have done, congressional republicans will be hard-pressed not to fall into line.
You don't seem to understand that a lot of congressional republicans are not going to give up their careers for an unpopular one term president.
