KERRY: SCRIPTURE COMMANDS USA TO PROTECT MUSLIM COUNTRIES AGAINST GLOBAL WARMING

some people will clutch at any straw to make them selves feel better about their beliefs.

The video is pretty clear that he is referring to stewardship of the earth and that some muslim countries are among the most vulnerable........
Its a great example of idiots trying to turn everything that is said to fit their own beliefs. Something every extremist is usually pretty good at doing.

"muslim countries"? Does that make America a "christian country"?

he actually says ''muslim majority countries are among the most vulnerabe.'' (my bad)
so in that context I guess you would say America is a ''christian majority country" given from Wikipedia ......The majority of Americans (73%) identify themselves as Christians and about 20% have no religious affiliation

ok, carry on, just trying to keep the conversation honest

The sense of stewardship is a teaching I hear in church.

here is a link to biblical references... of stewardship... they are numerous

my problem is that he linked this concept to "climate change".

Should he not be giving this speech about issues we know we are facing like the oceans being polluted and fished out. Would this not be a great speech if it spoke of sustainable practices?
or nuclear waste or real pollution... not plant food that may or may not be causing warming.
