Quote from james_bond_3rd:
It honestly doesn't matter if you, say, attack 9/11 widows or say that someone is faking Parkinson's disease. It's just offense/defense. Reporters have decided that printing reactions is their job, and that's life until their circulation drops to the point where they can no longer pay themselves to live in a dreamland composed of their own heroism at reprinting press releases. And let's be honest and not pretend like this is Kerry's fault; a gaffe like this was inevitable, and if Kerry hadn't said it the Republicans would have manufactured something else.
So here it is, I'll say it myself, "If you don't get educated, you may end up stuck in Iraq." This is not from Kerry. This is from me. And that's the truth. Don't blame me. Blame the guy who started this war.
The ultimate respect for the troops, is to find a way to get them home.
C'mon Professor!
Who attacked 911 widows? Was it a US Senator? Who said MJF was faking Parkinsons? A Congressman? No, those were private citizens. Kerry made that comment during a campaign as a US Senator. This wasn't "made up" by anyone other than Kerry. Hell, even some Dems are saying he should apologize. He reeks of arrogance. All he had to do was make a quick, simple apology and this would been over.
You're just an educated fool.
