I can’t imagine that you’re unwilling to take my money and bragging rights?! I lost a bet to Poindexter and paid within minutes. That was $1,000 over his Pentagon/intelligence CV. I even asked the mods to delete his proof once the bet was won.

I have much respect for Poindexter, but I’d treat the loss the same. I don’t renege.

I thought that's exactly where we are now as far as THE COURT is concerned, and that all the other tinkering was within the States in attempts to add restrictions that likely would not stand once the big boys and girls court got a hold of them. Anti-abortion lunatics in Mississippi tried to pass a "personhood" law or amendment (don't know which, i didn't pay attention because it was so ridiculous that I knew it wouldn't pass even in Mississippi, and of course it didn't.)

Thank you for the information on the Brat guy. I'll file it away for later use. I've heard Reagan referred to as a "true" conservative (a big spending, weak thinking, "true" conservative with a little Alzheimers thrown in.) If there is any truth in that, then I am going to have to re-evaluate my use of the term "conservative." I consider Reagan to be the worst President in our brief history, even worse than Johnson!, as several of the most severe problems we face today are traceable directly back to his idiotic embracement of supply side economics and the ridiculous axiom that private corporations are always better at doing a job than the government. The damage Reagan did is incalculable. Only Trump since, has a chance to surpass him in damages done.
