Kennedy Leaving SCOTUS

SCOTUS will never be seated. Balahahahahahahaha

Say it again! Say it again!

Seated? They haven't even posted the Heritage Foundation list. I think you're missing the point. I don't have a uterus and I am not planning on any more kids. I pull out with your wife, but that's more of a STD thing... the less time spent there the better. Silly argument, but it makes me sleep at night.

But I digress... you misunderstand. (Nearly) zero fucks given. It's HORRIBLE timing for the GOP as it's out of desperation and will mobilize (Moore in AL) women to vote like nothing you've ever seen.

Meh to losing another seat. If it means mass-mobilization of women voters? I'm happy to sacrifice another SCOTUS chair.

Yeh sure. NOT!

You caution the forum about the need to have tolerance and guard against discrimination.

Meanwhile we already have Ginsburg, Sotomeyer and Kagan on the court. If we added one more of your ilk, we might as well rename the Court to The Red Hen Society.

Here's the scoop for all you worrywarts and sky-is-falling types:

Trump is going to nominate a justice and within four months of that we will have one of his nominees on the bench. He has a long list. If one goes down, there are many more right behind that one. Kennedy himself was Reagan's third choice. First one was Bork who went down hard and rough. Second pick was some guy who withdrew because someone exposed the fact that he had smoked marijuana once or maybe even more than once. Shit happens, they gang up on you. Move on. The court nominee process is one of the -or maybe the only- areas where Trump is not shooting from the hip. He has list. It has been extensively pre-vetted so that he does not nominate Joe Arpaio or something- so just start nominating and let the chips fall where they may. In any conflict, you take casualties but there is ZERO CHANCE that one of his first three nominees will not prevail....the first one will take the biggest hit though.

The final nominee will be a reasonably conservative type but the lefties will brand him as KKK and Nazi. That cannot be stopped and no one should waste any time trying to stop it. Some Dem Senators are running for president. Kamela Harris and Corey Booker for example. They already know what they are going to say and are already prepared to be outraged regardless of who is nominated. I can tell you with pinpoint accuracy what they will say regardless of who is nominated. Fine, they are on the campaign trail and as dems they get paid to be offended and to tell you that your private parts will fall off if so-and-so is confirmed.

Oh, and after this next nominee is seated. We need to prepare for another.

On the road to Iran.

They're not. They're citing the McConnell precedent. I certainly don't see it as last ditch as it's anything but a foregone conclusion. I see it as a positive as,

1) I pull out

2) It is biological-motivation to MOVE every woman to the polls. They could be giving birth on election day and they'll somehow make it to the polls during contractions

I'm not denying that roe v. Wade isn't in danger, just that the media coverage is heavily focusing on that to get women fired up, when the reality is there are far worse implications to losing the court.

Well, I appreciate your sacrifice.

Sucker!!

Uhhh...arghhhhh....you really got me on the whole wife thing. Are you out of high school yet? Because if you aren't, I will consider changing my tone.

For sure.

Most of Obama's legacy is in the toilet and this will be one more gigantic flush and the gift that keeps on giving. Even moreso after Ruthie goes.
