Contrary to your statement, the ideas of Classical Liberalism were not developed after the founding of the U.S. The ideas started with people like Locke and Rousseau. You might argue that the term classical liberal should be applied staring in the 1800s... but you can argue the ideas of classical liberalism were not developed well before by men like Locke, Rousseau, Hume and others. And everyone knows those men influenced Jefferson and our founders.

Seriously... no educated person would make the claim you just made. It is preposterous.

Total rubbish. I think it will be refreshing to live in a country where the laws and our Constitution are actually interpreted to mean what they say and the laws are made by duly elected representatives of We the People, not arrogant isolated judges in ivory towers.

We are heading down a path that will destroy individual freedoms under a conservative Supreme Court. We will have laws interpreted based on religion rather than the constitution. We will be back to nullification and separate but equal.
