The only correct comparison is Chicago versus Miami.
Ken left Chicago, because of the situation in Chicago. So not about Illinois. Crime numbers are much higher in Chicago than in Illinois globally.
So you should compare Chicago with Miami. As in Miami crime numbers are also much higher than in Florida globally.

Given why he left Chicago, the fact that crime is even worse now and the new mayor is working to increase crime - he should dump them all asap as the prices are only going to go down.
