0:53 Hands down at his waist backing away.No aggressive movements towards the cops and they fire multiple shots into him.Thats what I see.
After watching the all of the videos. I don't believe they help clarify the situation.
In fact I think the videos don't aid the credibility of the police's story and will only drive further protests.
This does not appear to be a situation where lethal force can be justified. Keith Scott was not pointing a gun in the general direction of officers when he was shot. It is not even clear if he had a gun. The video filmed by the wife even raises the question of where the gun ("on the ground near his feet ") came from because it was not present in early frames but visible in later ones.

The 64 dollar question is what was the wife so emphatically telling him not to do. Keith, don't do it. Don't do it. Journalism 101 would be to ask her what was she telling him not to do. That would of course require someone who actually wants to know.
Interestingly, from what I read, it was the black officer at the scene that shot him.
What the hell proceeded this? The cop shows up there are already several cops with guns drawn. What the hell was this guy doing that escalated this situation to that point? A bunch of the cops were plain clothes cops too, so they had something on this guy. Since we are depending on the main stream media to give the details, it is unlikely they will ever be known.
According to the police chief. The cops were at the apartment complex looking for someone else. However they observed this guy smoking pot in his car. They didn't think much of this, but then they observed this individual (Keith Scott) with a gun and pot. At this point they decided to get their tactical gear and arrest this person because he represented a threat to the public due to the gun.
