Keep it up Democrats, you are doing a great job

In life, there are times when you get a little cocky and end up getting humbled in the end. It happens to the best. The democrats are in such a position. They raised this Obama fellow to deity status and follow every word he says. Of course, this has led to the democrats getting their asses kicked in race after race over the last 8 years. It all came to a frothy boil, when Hillary Clinton, who ran on the Obama message, lost the 2016 Presidential election in stunning fashion. After such a defeat, you would think the democrats would do some soul searching, try to find out what they did wrong, and think of new ways to prevail in the future.

Did they try to figure out where they went wrong? No, they double-downed on the very things that put them in the electoral wilderness. They are now getting their asses kicked in fund raising by the republicans. They have had a full court press trying to take down Trump and it is failing. I personally am loving it. I love seeing these assholes fail. Keep up the good work.

Democrats struggling to raise money under Trump

The Democratic National Committee raised $5.5 million in June, less than half the $13.5 million accumulated by its Republican counterpart, according to Federal Election Commission data released Friday.

The Democrats' poor fundraising numbers are the latest in a string of weak performances by the party. The DNC has raised $38.1 million in the first six months of 2017 compared to the Republican National Committee's $75.4 million.

The RNC has nearly six times as much cash on hand as of late June. The DNC reported $7.5 million in the bank and the RNC reported $44.7 million.

Yeh. It is more complicated than just raising or not raising funds though. Remember all the crowing about the dems outraising and outspending the republicans three to one? Then they got trounced. So it is not clear that even outraising funds compared to the republicans will get them where they want to go unless they find some candidates that are not losers.

Another reason that it is complicated is because the dems are seriously fractured. A lot of them dont want to give money to the dnc because the dnc will just take their money and use it to support some beltway approved candidate who will work against bernie or progressives within his circle. And - if you recall- Bernie did pretty well raising funds just by going directly to the people via the internet and personal appeal. The dnc establishment thinks that the hatred for trump makes it obvious that donations will pour in. Problem with that theory is that a lot of them hate the dnc clowns now too. The democratic party is a confused clown show. Just when the establishment dems are saying that the party needs to move to the center and recapture the working class vote, the most highly motivated voters are going even further to the left over to Comrade Bernie. Good luck wit dat. Clown show.
