If, and that's a very big IF, that happens it will be as it should have been all along. States, the people in those states voting one way or the other, should be legislating this, not the feds.

You mean like we had a democracy? People elect representatives to make laws? That is an astounding and novel concept. Liberals prefer to have unelected judges with lifetime tenure declare that controversial issues which lack popular support are "constitutional rights" and thus mandatory. Of course, that system only works for them if the judges are all intellectually corrupt left wingers too.

The GOP has no moderates anymore, Collins (Lucy with the football) is not one and Flake is going away. The next thing will the the left after taking a few knocks will start to copy the right's method of unifying behind one issue even if that is utter bullshit. A two party system where one side has no moderates can't run for long.

Then the right will turn to assassination and who knows.

By most accounts, Kavanaugh's odds of confirmation were low after Ford's emotional testimony. After Kavanaugh's "on fire" testimony, the judiciary committee voted favorably on his nomination. Today, the Senate confirmed Kavanaugh to join the Supreme Court.
