I liked your picture of Trump making the asshole sign. His version of "V for Victory"?
Probably the only way the Democrats would even have a chance to stop Kavanaugh from being confirmed would be to flood the media with quotes from Kavanaugh's craziest opinions and writing. He has expressed extreme viewpoints on constitutional law that would leave even a few neo-liberals scratching their heads.
Although Kavanaughs record suggests his views on constitutional law are extreme, it also suggests an enigmatic, overly pliable jurist willing to adopt extreme positions to mollify and comfort his current master. Or said less delicately, he seems to be a toady who will say almost anything to get ahead and ingratiate himself to his master and listener du jour. In other words, he is a sycophant extraordinaire. Therefore it's possible that once seated on the Court, where he is then invulnerable, he might actually throw off his sycophantic shackles, wipe the brown stain from his nose, and become his own man. With Kavanaugh there is no way to know what we are going to get, his past opinions promise to be an unreliable indicator of his future opinions.

Yet, the dems still want hundreds of thousands of records to review before deciding on how to vote on the candidate that they have said they will not vote for.
