A new theory has emerged in the case of whether Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted accuser Christine Blasey Ford roughly 35 years ago; it was Kavanaugh's high school look-alike, whose high school house better fits Ford's description, and who kept in touch with the other guy allegedly in the room, Mark Judge.

The theory was presented Thursday afternoon by Ed Whelan, a former clerk to USSC Justice Antonin Scalia and currently president of the Ethics and Public Policy Center (EPPC), a conservative think tank. Using entirely circumstantial evidence which could certainly ruin the life of the man at the center of the new theory, Whelan suggests that Kavanaugh's high school doppelganger, Chris Garrett, may have in fact been responsible for Blasey Ford's recollection of the alleged incident.

My issue with Kavanaugh is fairly simple, he is not wise and has prominent political wolf ears.

Say he was blackout drunk and literally does not remember so genuinely believes he is innocent for sake of argument. Or he is actually innocent.

I want to see a supreme court justice who stands up publicly and says to the people threatening Ford's life and her family to cool it. He is a judge, he knows his hearings are a political decision and very much court of public opinion.

The guy I want on the bench of the highest court is someone who does not hide behind a partisan wall and let the trolls do what they do.

I want a guy who takes a decisive action to protect the family of even a political foe before he gets told to do it.

It was his obvious move the last two days and he was not smart enough to see and take it.

The accused is highly qualified for the job, has impeccable integrity, and has no known patterns of behavior as is being alleged. There is a truism - the male makes thing happen. Anyone remotely familiar with genetics knows that it is the sperm the impregnates the egg. The egg just sort of hangs out waiting for something to happen.

Perhaps one of the worst books I ever read cover to cover. That and The Fountainhead. I'll never get that time back. Someone suggested I read some of her non-fiction. Pins would be more inviting to the eye.
