Kavanaugh accuser goes public

No, I was just countering your bullshit. But your bullshit is well past your eyeballs for you to see it.

How you guyz coming along with the investigation and prosecution of Prime Minister Groper?

Oh I see. You are busy obsessing over American court justices because the American court justices are more important to Canadians.

Got it. Another slow day for you in Moosedump Village.

Why Old Men Cry

For Captain it's not fair.

"Age brings with it hormonal changes that influence crying, as well as less concern about what others think. The good news is that crying provides emotional release, and depending on the circumstances, it can actually improve mood and reduce tension.

Here’s a list of reasons why older men cry more than they’re used to:

1. Men “let their guard down” as they age

According to a 2010 New York Times article, men simply feel more comfortable crying in front of others as they get older, and not as concerned about their spot on the “macho scale.”

2. Hormonal changes

As men reach middle age, their testosterone levels decline. Frustrating or sad situations that might have driven a man to anger in the past may now move him to tears.

3. Previous trauma

Dwelling on past emotional pain can incite sad feelings for both women and men. Plus, it can produce even more hurt, building up a well of emotions to release.

4. Depression, anxiety or mental illness due to aging

Getting older, in and of itself, can produce bouts of depression as seniors grapple with the notion of end-of-life. Experiencing the loss of friends and loved ones only makes matters worse. Seniors with mental illness may also show signs of depression or experience mood changes that cause them to cry more easily.

5. Social isolation

Living alone can lead to feelings of social isolation. Seniors who no longer drive may be giving up social outings and other opportunities to connect with people. As those feelings of isolation endure, seniors may lose their sense of purpose.

6. Health issues and medications

Stroke, heart disease, cancer and other health conditions can lead to depression. Unfortunately, some medications intended to fight these health issues can worsen depressive symptoms. These include certain blood pressure medicines (e.g., clonidine), high-cholesterol drugs (e.g., Lipitor and Zocor), painkillers, other arthritis drugs and some heart medications.

Slarti... we are not really interested in your health and mental issues. Take it to chit chat.

It's ok, the Captain has been a weeper all his life. ;)

I can say one thing is true, in other countries people in their 60s and 70s act accordingly, US boomers somehow behave like petulant brats very often.

GOP blocked Obama, this is turnaround and also essential to preserve the will of the people. Your whole attitude to women and things like Harvey Weinstein really does come across like you have a guilty past.

It is not fucking normal as Max E. thinks to do endless sexual innuendo banter with women at work. Just not. He may have this impression from working in 95% male trading firms but it is not how the corporate world works.
Of course, agree with the ideology or you're guilty. Typical. Can you get past the politics for just one minute. In this new era of accusations are taken as fact we have set a dangerous precedent.
We have a choice. Walk on eggshells day and night and hope we don't "offend" anyone, or we can expect and demand people bringing charges have evidence and credibility to suppport the charges.
Here's what we have today. Woman is pissed off at you. She says you assaulted her, maybe raped her, perhaps you molested her kid, etc., etc. You are now automatically guilty and must prove you didn't do it. While you're trying to prove your innocence, your career is destroyed, your personal life is ruined, your actual life is in danger as the mob will want their pound of flesh and your freedom is in fact jeopardized because we no longer care about evidence and facts.
If this is our future, no thanks.

It'll be good to get his story under oath. Think he'll submit to a polygraph like the victim did?

If you have the goods to prosecute the alleged witness for something then go for it and we will see what his defense is from there. Good luck from that.

Oh, and polygraph results are not admissable in court- assuming this is not Saskatchewan.

Have any ideas as to why they are not admissable? Heh, work on it a bit.
