Keep dreaming. She shared the story with her husband and therapist years ago. She clearly didn't want to pursue the matter because of the attention she would receive, and who wants that kind of attention? But when she saw that the perp might actually be on the Supreme Court, she felt obligated to let others know. Civic duty, and all that. And she even wanted to remain anonymous at first, consistent with her earlier approach to the issue years earlier. But when push came to shove, she did what was right.
I'd say this version of events is more credible than yours. But we'll see, right?
