Any rational person would have bet their bottom dollar that nothing would surpass Hillary Clinton's bizarre interview during which she earnestly maintained that her loss was the obvious result of Trump forces carefully coordinating release of hacked material with the Russians. She didn't address the obvious question: if so, why didn't the NSA and other snoops capture any of it? It's not like they weren't giving Trump the full monty already. I suppose the dumbest presidential candidate in history and the most unprepared somehow had superior spy tradecraft to the CIA.
Anyway, Hillary's performance was disconcerting on many levels, to both fans and critics. It was a bit like watching an old prize fighter who had taken too many head shots mumbling that he wanted another title shot.
Kathy Griffin however just couldn't leave well enough alone however. It had to be about her. Again. You 'd think a person would maybe step back and take a few days off after the week she's had. She whined:
“If you don’t stand up, you get run over,” she added. “What’s happening to me has never happened ever in the history of this great country. Which is that a sitting president of the United States and his grown children and the First Lady are personally, I feel, personally trying to ruin my life forever.”
“He picked me, I’m the easiest target,” she continued.
Ok, maybe they picked you because, oh I don't know, you were the one who planned and posted an ISIS-style picture of the President's severed head. What did you expect their reaction to be? Appreciative chuckles and maybe an invite to a WH dinner?
To make sure she topped Hillary however, Kathy poured it on:
"Griffin said the widespread backlash she has faced over the photo is part of a sexist campaign to destroy her career.
“It’s a bunch of white guys trying to silence me,” she said. “This wouldn’t be happening to a guy. This is a woman thing.” "
