The project is down 0.70% since it began on January 19, 2017.

The account is up 1.20% for this week.

I opened 1 new trade for the week.

The portfolio has a 61% probability of profit.

The project is down 1.70% since it began on January 19, 2017.

The account is down 1.00% for this week.

I opened 6 new trades for the week.

As I reflect back, I have not taken advantage of the increased volatility. I am only using 27% of my buying power. I should be using at a minimum 35%. I will try to increase this next week. My theta numbers are in line at 0.11% of my net liq.

A friend of mine just reminded me that I am probably down due to the increase in. Oatiliry due to the French election. He believes that once the election is over, the volatility will somewhat come out of the front month options and I should regain my loss this coming week - unless there's a crash.

It seems to me that if you are trading volatility, you should be paying attention to why the vol is moving especially since the art of short vol is getting out before the steamroller smashes your fingers.

By getting out, do you mean closing all positions?
 
Here are my April 2017 results. 16 opening trades and 20 closing trades. The account was down 0.19% for the month and down 3.30% since inception on January 19, 2017.
