In fairness, I don't see pre-Nazi German army as anything but just another army of the time. If the coat of arms pre-dates Hitler, I don't see it as Nazi. It doesn't mean that Nazis don't adopt pre-Hitler symbiology however (Thor's hammer, Iron cross, etc...).
