They won't have to amend it. If they take the White House and Senate in 2020, which is very possible, they will immediately abolish the filibuster rule, pass draconian gun confiscation legislation and threaten the Supreme Court with another FDR court-packing scheme if they object. They'll probably expand the Court in any case, making actual amendment of the Constitution unnecessary.

I like to show restraint on the forum once a year, and I hate to use it up this early in the year but I guess this is it.
