He lives in another country. Not unusual to not be able to see someone who lives in another country.
I have two friends who are celebrities and not in politics. Their parents are alive and live in another country...I've never seen their parents...not even an old image.
Yet, if you're a close family friend or a family member, a good chance you would have seen him or heard from him.
With that said, if you're wondering the same about her mother...
The mom is dead. That's why you have not seen her or heard from her.

Why are they estranged though? Your daughter might become the leader of the free world. Your father has one foot in the grave.
Is he debilitated? Does she have "daddy" issues? Aren't you both mature enough to let bygones be bygones? Is the plane ticket too expensive?
Someone's got to get (t)his side of the story.
I know one NHL player who never talked about his mother even though she's alive...although sickly. I do not remember her going to any of his collegiate hockey games. I know a popular Republican Senator, he never talks about his parents although both are alive...divorced. I saw his dad once in college.
We all assumed they were not close to their parents for whatever reason but that's not our concern.
I'm sure you know some statistics...close to 80% of Americans go through a divorce, and then 61% of those divorcing couples have children. Most children of divorced couples live with the mother.
Why does someone need to get his side (Harris's father) of the story about his divorce from the family especially when it could involve talking negatively about his dead ex-wife...a story that wouldn't sit too well with the Harris siblings who were very close to their mother.
As an American veteran who lives abroad in another country, I know many expats who are divorced and do not have good communication with their adult children back in the States...there seem to be lingering problems about their family breakup.
Family divorce stories are not any of my business. By the way, I didn't care that my friends did not talk about their divorced parents but if they did talk...I would have listened.

If politics was that dirty in which you need to talk about someone's family member that lives in another country, divorced your family...
You'll be wasting your time bashing her dead mother who was involved in civil rights...similar to the father although he's still alive and retired.
Seriously, no need to be that desperate if you truly believe that. What is stopping you from talking dirty about someone's dead mother who died of cancer and lived in the United States until her death if politics is so dirty to you???
My point, people aren't that stupid to waste their time & energy talking negatively about Trump's dead parent's German heritage. Instead, they just talk about Trump himself. If I'm wrong, start a thread about Trump's dead parents, and Harris's dead mother or father who resides in another country...
