Kamala Harris and other prominent Democrats want to repeal Trump's tax cuts and replace them with ca

Yeah. And waste more legislative time for an absolutely zero f'ing chance of getting anything passed.
But it sounds good on the stump.
Business as usual.
It can get dems support from now till 2020 and force republicans to defend the position that the rich should keep the tax cuts rather than giving them to the overwhelming majority of the population. If Dems take The House Trumps legislative agenda is already dead and he is a lame duck so it's fine with me.

I agree, hope they shout this from the rooftops in the mid-terms. Just think how ecstatic all the hard working tax payer's will be at the idea of working their asses off so the Dem's can give money to freeloader's. Being poor is 90% on the choices you make.

Actually the money is going to them which is much better than going to the rich.

How do you give a tax break to someone who doesn't pay taxes?
Just show's how fucking brain dead liberal's are. Of course the biggest tax cuts will go to the biggest tax payer's.

The top 1049 taxpayers pay more in income taxes than the bottom 70 percent combined

The top 1 percent of taxpayers pay more than the bottom 90 percent combined. Yes, let's take more from them.

Kamala Harris and other prominent Democrats want to repeal Trump's tax cuts and replace them with cash payouts for the poor and working class

  • With midterm elections 2½ weeks away and the 2020 presidential race around the corner, prominent Democrats are embracing an ambitious idea: Repeal and replace the $1.5 trillion Republican tax plan.
  • The proposals would get rid of the tax cuts and, in turn, funnel that money into government-guaranteed cash for low- and middle-income households.
  • Possible White House contender Sen. Kamala Harris announced a plan this week that would give working families up to $6,000 each year, with the option of receiving monthly payments.

The proposals would get rid of the tax cuts and, in turn, funnel that money into government-guaranteed cash for low- and middle-income households.
Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., announced a plan this week that would give working families up to $6,000 each year, with the option of receiving monthly payments. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, and Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., outlined a similar idea last year. A bill from Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, D-N.J., would allow stay-at-home parents and students to receive the money as well.

"The idea was to provide a clear contrast with Donald Trump," Khanna told CNBC in an interview. "You know what you could actually do with this money? You could give anyone making under $75,000 a raise."

The measures are significantly more dramatic than some previous Democratic proposals – a reflection of the proximity to the midterm elections and the early interest surrounding the presidential race in 2020. Harris and Brown are potential contenders for the White House, and Democrats have been seeking bold ideas to present to their energized electorate.

How about not paying Democrat Senators any salaries and perks because they are not doing their jobs? How many millions are we going to save as a result? In addition, prosecute those guilty of violating our campaign finance laws and corruption! If we get rid of the corrupt and the inept Democrat Senators, we will have accountable public officials not counting the huge savings in monies!

And what do they want in return for 500 bucks a month? Well, everything that really matters. Blind loyalty is only the beginning. All freedom of thought and speech must be exchanged for that 500. Any independence you may have thought you had, gone. Dare to disagree, ask a question, do anything other than nod your head in agreement, smile broadly when instructed, and carry out the order of the day...they'll have a place for you to get your mind right.
I think I'll take a pass, but no doubt they'll want my money to finance the scam. Taxed into poverty and despair, and when we're all equally poor, fighting each other for a happy meal, somehow in the mind of the leftist we'll all get along just swimmingly. Another bright idea from the party of intellectuals don't ya' know.
