I loved the fact that in football you have the time to eat and drink, even speaks with your friend during the match. The game is totally formated for tv ads so it's cool to watch.

Have you seen a soccer match in real ? like the final of the champions league with FC barcelona ? You have the time to eat and drink only once during the break... the game is so intense that it's impossible to have the same "freedom" as in a football match...

I just got to see Beckham play for the first time in person last week (Galaxy at Wizards). Perhaps now that Kaka has signed with RealMad, he can follow in Becks' footsteps and come play in the MLS in a couple of years!

BTW, the Wizard goal in that game was perhaps the finest shot I've ever seen - live or otherwise. 60 yds out, upper left corner - stunning.

money is flowing in madrid but they
have huge earnings by marketing,
at the time Beckham was signed in madrid they sold
a couple million of his shirts worlswide within a couple months

same is expected by the new signings Kaka / Ronaldo
 
Next season's clasicos are going to be incredible to watch.

Even with all the new players, I think Madrid will have a tough time beating Barcelona.

It's all in the mix.
