Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

It doesn't look for Trump Jr. but this treason crap is ridiculous. The media/democrats are heavily invested in a Trump/Russia collusion story and will stop at nothing to remove the egg that is all over their face.

The "and" was not put in to replace the word "or". Stop being ridiculous. "or" is fine. In order for a country to be an "enemy" you must be at war whether declared or not, there must be physical hostility.

Donald Trump Jr. would have committed treason if he contacted the head of Isis and offered to tell them of troop movements and what our plans were. --Going to a meeting to hear someone, even a foreigner, speak about negative items concerning a political candidate is not in any stretch of the imagination, treason.
