Yep, but it is even worse than that for the dems now. If Ruthie leaves and Trump nominates someone who is rejected then the vacancy just goes on and on. How does that work out for the dems though? The conservatives have a majority so they are screwed to begin with and then they think they are going to be okay going an entire session or more with even one less liberal? In other words, an eight member court with five conservatives on it. Giddy-up. That works for me. Leave it vacant as long as you want, especially if it happens early in trumps second term or Son of Trump, the Rev. Pence. That would be awesome.

Before Trump was even declared winner on election night, the liberal media and their base were screaming like lunatics and running ridiculous stories trying to undermine the election.

When Conservatives don’t like something, they peacefully wait to vote again to change it.

Democrats made the country strong under Obama. There was a solid foundation of fiscal management by reducing the structural deficit and expansion of healthcare. This was all buttressed by strong improvements in education and job training.
There is a massive amount of damage building up under the Trump presidency. He and the republicans in Congress have set us up for a tremendous amount of financial hardship. We can’t escape mathematics. Inflation and debt will take its toll.
The culture war republicans engaged in to gain power is dividing the country in terrible way. Even today, it is not the economy the republicans are running on in the midterms, it’s the culture wars.
Trump is going to leave this country broke and divided. There will be an undermining of our justice system and the country will be flush with right wing activist justices that will bury the American worker and undermine minority and women protections.
This is a case of laugh now and cry later. On the road to Iran.
All completely avoidable. The left only had to accept that their horrible candidate blew the election, regroup and come back with someone better, but nooooooooo, the grand conspiracy had to be fabricated and here we are.
