(CNN) -- U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said Tuesday that the Justice Department has launched a criminal investigation into the massive oil spill spreading through the Gulf of Mexico.
 
Just guessing but if the liability cap is 75m, perhaps a nice criminal suit will provide unlimited damages.

Also this is good politics, I hope to see the advocates for the one armed lesbian albino octopus file suit (raise awareness for the "cause").
