Just who are the bad guys in the polygamy case?

Child welfare investigator Angie Voss testified that some of the children who they have spoken to have said they were told if the heavenly father tells the prophet they are to marry at any age, they are to do that. And if the heavenly father tells the prophet they should lie, then they are to do that too.
Ratboy, do you see now how they use god as a tool who communicates to their leader, then the leader brings the message to the children? This is why the women and children do as they are told. This is why 20 of those who claimed to be adults, are now thought to be minors who lied about their age.
I agree the cps should have kept the mothers and children together, and mistakes have been made. How does anyone investigate a closed society who will not let outsiders in?

The Federal Government can't actually be expected to do its job.

Hell no. Thats why we need to grow the scope and authority of this monster while stuffing hundreds of billions more into its pocket.

This won't work, trendlover. Certain members here will just shout 'No evidence, no evidence' no matter how much evidence is presented. We have already been able to find ample evidence, just a bunch of internet personnas. Imagine what the authorities have. And yet it's 'No evidence, no evidence'.

An attorney for FLDS families in Texas challenged the state's allegations of a "pervasive pattern" of underage girls having children, saying the state's own documents show just three teenagers in custody are pregnant.

Of those girls, one will turn 18 in a few months and another merely refused to take a pregnancy test, said Rod Parker, a Salt Lake City attorney representing families at the YFZ Ranch. "That leaves us with one," he said.

Parker also said Friday that one state document includes a woman whose first child was born more than a decade ago. He said he based his statements on a copy of a list created by an investigator for Texas Child Protective Services. "I challenge CPS to come forward with the pregnant minors," said Parker.

I have told you the crime. The crime is a religion that uses god to justify keeping girls faithful to one man, but allowing those men the joy of many wives and some are very young wives who do not have the choice of marrying someone closer to their age. You are right though, there has been no crime committed when you see how cleverly the ranch has "spiritual marriages", and when children are told to lie about thier ages, and when children don't know who their birth mother is becaue they consider all the wives their mother.

Yes this is not a new article, but it does speak of Warren Jeffs ways of using god to take money from his followers. The same Warren Jeffs who was the leader of the ranch that was raided until he was jailed. Look at the mentality of the man. Does he sound like a man of compassion and caring and dedicated to his religion, or a man who knows how to use religion for his own self gain?
