Just to thank you, and regrettably say goodbye

I've been here on ET for 10 years, but must end my visits due to an unexpected development which can not be remedied. While I've not contributed much to ET, I have enjoyed reading many posts over the years, and sincerely thank those who provided me with that enjoyment. And most of all I would like to thank Baron for making ET available to the world of traders.

Lastly I would like to say to those who are willing to spend the time and effort, that a serious study of old school TA should produce the results that would make such study more than worthwhile. I'm saying that based on 40+ years of experience.
Please, trust me on that.

Wishing the best to all of you,
learner2007

Best wishes and good luck in your endeavors !

Hey, thanks so much for your participation over the years and I wish you the best of luck with everything moving forward. Send me a PM on occasion and let me know how things are going.

Best of luck with your future... don’t be afraid to come back, I think Handle123 has possibly come back once.

Happy trails learner - some of my best learning was done at painful times far away from the market.

Classic TA, well most of you know I am a fan of it. When combined with outstanding $ mgmt there is nothing like it.

Did classic TA fail on this recent sell off? No, there were text books head & shoulder tops on some of the indexes & many of the leading stocks although somewhat short in duration. The neckline break is the point where the sell off went parabolic.

Classic TA alone was never enough for me to remain profitable - I had to blow up before realizing the importance of risk/$ mgmt which I think is the most important thing for all traders.

Yep, a lot more folks can read a chart than can trade for a living.
