The conservative motto needs to be "Compromise on nothing. Fight this destructive, evil trend before we completely lose America and what it stands for."
This country is nearly EVENLY divided. So, don't think that the 47% who voted for Romney deserve any less than for conservatives to carry on the fight as hard as ever.

Why is it always our side who has to compromise? When do the liberals ever compromise? If they lose, they scrape themselves up off the floor and come back to fight the very same issue over and over. Eventually, like water wearing away a stone, they succeed.
I'm just saying, any republican who backstabs us on this can kiss his career goodbye. There is just no excuse for them going wobbly. They can prevent it even coming up for a vote in the Senate with a filibuster. Boehner can block any bill in the House he doesn't like from gettting a vote. So the whole idea is a ridiculous nonstarter, provided the republicans don't go yellow. If they do, we will be coming for them next election.

Your side will compromise on this issue. And I would hate you to try to throw more of your lawmakers, who compromise, under the bus over reasonable gun control laws.
This will only result in Democrats getting the house. It is never a good thing when 1 party controls house, senate and WH.
We have seen what both repubs and dems did when that happened over past 10 years.
The real problem is 18 of last 19 school shootings are from people on SSRI drugs. Gun control is the agenda here and that is already very obvious with UN Gun Ban Treaty in the background. The SSRI and similar drugs dettach a person from their conscience, and that is why there is over 2000% increased suicide rates for those also taking these demonous drugs.
