This is nothing but an emotional appeal. I could make the same argument the next time a drunk driver kills some people or some teen going 100MPH kills himself and a few others.

It's pointless to discuss anything serious with liberals. They cannot get beyond the emotions of the moment and their overwhelming desire to feel morally superior.

That's why we must never give an inch on gun control. Any concession is just the starting point for the next concession. We have a constitutional right to own effective self defense weapons, and I fully expect our representatives to defend that right as vigorously as they would our rights to free speech, freedom from arbitrary arrest or freedom of religion.
