That is exactly what he did according to latest reports. Most were shot via bushmaster, he used hand gun on himself, and a shotgun was left in his car.

My main point is that firearms should only be sold after decent background checks to law abiding citizens. With each additional permit being a lot more expensive than the previous one.

A 9mm hand gun with 10 bullets in a clip is way more than enough for self protection.

Gun collectors and enthusiasts would need to pay up, jmho.

I never said anything about making anything more strict, nor did I apply this to the current situation with this Lanza shithead. I simply agreed that background checks are needed, and asked if anyone disagreed with this.

Now, if you want to discuss what could have changed this situation, then perhaps asking questions if someone in your immediate family is mentally ill, etc. I don't know. I am of the mindset where I believe you cannot prevent such statistical aberrations as this one, and putting laws in place to do so does nothing but make a few bleeding hearts feel better.

gun bans work about as well as drug bans. Democrats think government solves all, and we are about to irrationally overreact again to make poeple feel good. The monumental waste that is TSA would be puny compared to the effort it would take to get rid of the banned guns, not to mention all the shot ATF agents.
