Continental army was founded in 1775. The US Army may draw it's
roots to this but except for a few fragments for special purposes it was
disbanded.. I was discussing the 2nd in the context of the mind of people at the time.
When Joy Division's singer died and they became New Order. I don't bother stating the now perfectly obvious. So.. this leads to Federalist 29? the out-of-sequence document the 2nd can trace it's origin to? And was the US army founded in name when?... My mistake was was inelegantly trying to explain something (not very) complicated to a dumb Russian.
You will notice nobody else educated has taken up your angle because unlike you, they grasp the larger picture.

Why change the name if there were not also changes in the perception of the purpose of the army. Have a think and get back with more hair splitting.
