Just made 5 years pay on that gold manipulation

There really is no "I made $x amount" in trading. Anything and everything is liable to be given back to the market on the next trade. If business if you make $x amount on a deal, you can mostly prevent giving it back it on the next deal.

People who say "I made x" are generally lying. The truth is anywhere from -x to zero.
