Just a glimpse into what will happen in dark times...

Quote from Tsing Tao:

I'm with ya, bro. I'll be just fine. Have the property in the mountains, cabin will be built by next year, all the ammo and food stuffs I need. Not that the zoo will destroy anything but the confines in which they live.

I've got plenty of Orville Redenbacher popcorn to watch them tear each other apart.

Are you moving there?

No, it's a vacation property. But if the shit hits the fan, that's where I'll be. I bought the property from a retired SF guy (he sold me a 10 acre piece of his 350 acres) whose "friends" are building their own sites up there.

Quote from Scataphagos:

Same as when they hear that there have become too many parasites... more than can be supported by the host class... and that their benefits must be reduced or eliminated.
But, as you said before, the more inequality the better (if only the have-nots will behave as we want them to).

Please show me the link where Scat said "the more inequality the better". I'd like to get the context, that is, if it actually was even said.

Doomsday Prepping is actually a good idea, considering America will do Greece in about 4 years. At which point, all the EBT cards (and other handouts) will grind to a screeching halt. It's funny and well-deserved, but also extremely dangerous. City folk will kill themselves and everyone around them, as they get flushed down the toilet. Time to get out?

The world will end on /%inserthistoricaldatehere/%!

Actually, the world will not end at all. But there will be a lovely new beginning in the country on /%inserthistoricaldatehere/%.

We don't know when it will happen, but it will happen. That keeps me warm on cold nights.

That's the beauty of predicting catastrophe, wait long enough and, with history as your guide, it will happen. But then, so do good things.

That's the beauty of predicting just about anything without a time limit.

But I'll go so far as to say the really really bad will happen before the really really good :) We're trending down, not up.

I'll pray you can make it there WHEN the shtf. We'll be dealing with gubment road blocks/checkpoints, etc., and YES, they will be violating the Constitution they swore to uphold by disarming people at each checkpoint...:(

I'm considering Colorado, or Tennessee. My Dad just passed away, and he loved log homes. I think I'm going to buy one to live in.
