Just a flu bro...literally

Perhaps I wasn't clear. I wasn't talking about some message board debate. The debate needed to happen during a legislative process, state legislators, city councils, town boards. A governor deciding an entire state must shutdown because one or two larger urban areas are having problems is absurd. Expedient debate was needed for sure, but that process cannot be abandoned simply because some wanna be King decides he or she alone must run the show.
I understood what you meant. But legislators know about as much about viruses as we do. Smart people yield to smarter people when it comes to critical matters they don’t fully understand. For example, the governor of Georgia has little business questioning the experts. He knows less than I do. He is a fucking moron. This is uncharted territory and not a matter to finesse.

The "experts" have blown every call they made. To call their projections inaccurate doesn't even begin to describe how wrong they were and continue to be. We don't even know how many people have been infected, not even close. Consequently we cannot determine the true mortality rate. Everyone is guessing all while we're making and accepting very big decisions with long term consequences, some known, many unknowns. Not a rational approach IMO.

Do you want uneducated guesses, or educated guesses? Uncharted territory, remember?

Want I want is unbiased non politically driven information so I can then make an informed decision as to how much risk I am willing to take based on that information. We're not getting that so we are all supposed to accept worst case projections from the media ministry of truth as gospel, just in case, you know, for our own good. Stalinist much?

You think Fauci, who works for Trump is being political? Apart from appeasing the president within reason when his ego needs cuddling? Are you listening to what he’s saying? Does that leave you with any doubt?

Oh, and meanwhile you want to operate on a best-case scenario basis? Are you actually looking to die?

I just wish they would open up the bowling alleys like in Georgia....My right to bowl shall not be infringed!

In the economic model that your ilk follow, bowling alleys would be run by the state, maybe share facilities with a DMV.

Probably be a long wait to get into those DMV bowling alleys too. Even if there are only four people in line.

Yes I have doubt, not because I think he's lying and intentionally misinforming as the media does, but because he too is drawing conclusions based on data that is very incomplete. I go back to my argument that he and others in decision making positions never seriously considered a middle ground approach as a first step. He and all others gave us nothing but a binary choice. Do nothing and die by the millions or shut it all down immediately, hope for the best and make all subsequent decisions on the fly, all while having nothing but our best guesses as the basis for the government mandated solution. Mandated without any due process or legislative debate.
