folks,
i've been trying to land a trading role over the past 4 months.
I have finally been offered a junior warrants market-making role.
Appreciate it if i could get some advice on the following:
- How does the role of a market-maker differ from that of a trader?
- Does a market-making role have the potential to develop into a trading role?
- what are the career prospects for a market-maker - in terms of $$, trading responsibilities, etc?
i'm also expecting an offer for a quant analyst role, but can't decide whether to go with the market-making role or the quant analyst role.
how do the two roles compare in terms of career prospects, $$, etc?
really appreciate any advice that you'll might have! tks a tonne!
