I love how the rules of this debate which were supposed to help Biden, only hurt him. Like muting Trumps mic when Biden was talking. Imagine if Biden wasn't allowed to keep rambling on and on.

Let's be honest, Democrats helped create Trump by lying and gaslighting. Obama lied and gaslit everybody on numerous occasions throughout his presidency. Don't believe me? Go on any political factchecking website. They'll show you. Look at what the Democratic establishment's excuse is after the debate, "Trump lied". Well...Biden lied too. Just less. 30 to 9 is one fact checker's count. If you're going to make the argument that the other guy is a liar, well you shouldn't lie at all. Your argument shouldn't be, "I lie less and my lies are less egregious. I only lied 9 times to you, Trump lied 30 times to you." Yes, Trump is a pathological liar on a scale we haven't seen. Yes, he very well might be a complete sociopath. It amuses me how his lying sociopathic behavior creates a perception of authenticity. Leftists can get upset about the "both-sideism", but it would be more productive to not give Trumpists many ways to call both-sideism in the first place. It would be more productive to admit past mistakes and talk about ideas to correct them. The truth is that Democrats come up with enough lies to lose all credibility in a court of public opinion and engage in denialism whenever they get frightened. Joe Biden seeking a second term was clearly a mistake, let's see how many are publicly willing to own up to it. I won't hold my breath. More important to be a "team-player" than speak the truth.

I've never understood (embraced) the "team-player" ideology from both the Left or the Right of politics as a Republican growing up in Kentucky, South Dakota, and then in the north suburbs of Chicago with most of my friends as Democrats.

The media loves the political division and encourages it because it gets them viewership, donors, and advertising dollars...both sides eat it up...some are willing to kill for it while others are willing to get banned for it.

Today's politicians campaign on it with their "the left" and "the right" attacks instead of calling out the extremism on both sides and calling out the flip-floppers on both sides that are viruses...infecting whatever party accepts them.

We had a civil war that killed +600k in the United States and that number doesn't include Indigenous and Slaves killed in the Civil War except those enlisted in the War as military soldiers...both of which were not considered to be citizens of America at that time.

Sadly, today's politics has become bad enough that many want those days of division to return while others can not move forward from it...one side ignoring America's history while the other side embracing America's history because it is who America really is. ​

January 6th riot was a warning shot that Americans do not respect the U.S. Constitution and the vote of the people when things do not go their way...team players went wild.
