Good article. Anyone that lives in Chicago knows Jump pretty well. It's a household name. They are one of the older firms.

I live in Chiraq and it is not a household name by any means. Just a bunch of parasitic computer nerds with pot bellies and spindly limbs.

You know you are a talent less hack if you have pay for access to an order book on exchanges and front run widows, orphans, and pensioners for pennies and ticks.

Everyone in the trading community knows Jump. And they were printing money way before HFT took off.
