Julian Assange Interview on 60 minutes.

At first i really didnt know what to make of this guy, but after seeing this interview, I like him. He answered all the questions Steve Kroft threw at him very well. I think it was a very good interview, and one of the first times any journalist has had a chance to sit down with him 1 on 1.

One reason that i was somewhat up in the air about him at first was because he struck me as an anarchist, just trying to start shit every where, but he explained very well what his motives are for releasing information in the interview, so im on his side now.

I really don't get how people can't support this guy.

Thought the interview was interesting. 60 minutes struck me as a bit more antagonistic than usual and seemed to keep trying to pin him down on certain issues - he did a good job of keeping his line.

I too liked him a lot more after the interview, though my problem with him is that while I think I agree with his views, I'm not sure I believe in his execution or in his ability to carry out an effective plan from here on out.

An important point he made is that his organization's credibility is enhanced and dictacted by its supporters - curious to see how and to what level this continues.

Im still trying to figure out how this dipshit considered me anti-republican, but you are right on that as well, i dont understand how anyone could consider Assange anti-republican, when in the interview he was adamant about supporting things like free speech and a limited role of government.

How is he "anti republican"? He named Hillary Clinton...

I'm sort of on the fence about what, if anything, should be done with Assange. However, since he is not a U.S. citizen, should it be shown with little doubt that secret information released by him directly results in the murder of another individual and he cannot be held accountable by that person's country, then the President should authorize the CIA to act as judge, jury and executioner.

Wikileaks embarrassed Bush much more than Obama. Therefore, he's anti-Republican.
