Judge in George Zimmerman case offers to recuse herself

Yahoo news -

"Despite its controversial status, Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law has suddenly inspired new legislation in Texas, Oklahoma, and Georgia."

"Georgia: The legislature is considering a bill tentatively called "Better Safe than Sorry." It attempts to give Georgia's more cautious citizens the right to protect themselves before it's too late.

One Atlanta supporter claims, "If you wait until the crime is committed, then you can't stop the crime. In order to stop crime, we've got to kill the criminals before they become criminals." This bill would effectively allow anyone to shoot anyone at any time as long as the killer/protector can testify under oath that they had good intentions. Essentially, it's an honor system."

Right or wrong, I doubt this can pass now due to the current Zimmerman case. Too much negative press and too much research into the whole concept I think.

This is not a right or wrong issue. This is handing out a gun to every able men and asking them to have a shooting spree. Can you imagine having the conversations on this site with everyone holding a gun? I would have been gun-banged within a moments notice. One user already posted a video toward me informing that guns 'can accidentally' go off.

On the flip side, this could reduce the conservative nation.

I didn't realize bullets traveled through the internet. How does that work anyway?

Sheesh, you silly man. I said, "having the conversations on this site"... not to be confused with, "having conversations on this site."

You have to pass elementary school to appreciate grammar and comprehension.

Cry baby is also a dropout.

I didn't say I support such vague laws at all. Interesting that I just saw a guy with a loaded handgun in his holster while in line at Subway. Took me aback for a minute, but not in a panic. I would hate to think that I would feel so threatened in public that I would have to carry a loaded weapon while getting lunch? Leave it in the car or truck for heaven's sake.

Go hunting, go to the range, enjoy your guns, no problem. Evidently, since so few even bother to buy a gun, much less carry one in public, it must just be a certain mind-set that needs to do this.

Is that where you learned that "posting a video toward" someone is dangerous and threatening?

Would you go to a brothel and leave your dick in the car?

It really doesn't do you any good to have a weapon in the car, except while you're in the car yourself.

There is a youtube video of a young lady who testified before congress on the subject. She was caught in a shooting while dining in a restaurant and, if I'm not mistaken, she had left her handgun in the car.

How you would know? Have to be there first.

So you're maintaining that "posting a video toward" someone is dangerous and threatening?
