Judge in Chauvin trial calls out Rep. Waters for 'abhorrent' comment

I don't believe I'm reaching for an outcome. I don't care what the left or right thinks. I've been bashed by both sides on here, especially on any issues involving racial tensions. Are you an objective/independent thinker that ever disagrees with the right on here? I never see it. My question for you is, how does pinning somebody against the pavement with your neck on their knee for 9.5 minutes not rise to the level of third degree felony assault?
Knee on the neck is in the police manual. You're reaching

Knee on the neck is in the police manual. You're reaching
Only when the subject is a threat and in the recovery position in order to prevent positional asphyxia which is what occurred in this case. Putting your knee on the neck in that position for that length of time on a handcuffed individual is not in any training manual that I'm aware of. Chauvin was not trained to do this and officer after officer testified that it was not an acceptable use of force.

You continue to reach. ---There is no felony assault. There was no 2nd or 3rd degree murder. ---He may be found guilty of that due to folks like you being on the jury, but he is not in any way guilty of 2nd or 3rd degree murder.

Radical left lunatic Waters just gave a guarantee for appeal, but that's not the real story. This crazy bitch wants a riot, is instigating a riot and should be thrown out on her ass today.

The jury has been sequestered so hopefully they were sheltered from media and outside commentary.

Sorry - how did Floyd die?
Did you see the autopsy?
Was his trachea damaged?

Floyd was a drug addict criminal thug who swallowed a bunch of drugs when pulled over, had 3X the overdose quantity of Fentanyl in his system, and was not able to breathe as he was busy resisting arrest.

Under the law, other contributing factors to a death do not rule out criminal culpability if your actions also played a role in the death. This is criminal law 101. If Chauvin did not knee his neck and shoulders for 9 minutes the other factors would not have led to his death. Also you dont need to damage a trachea to choke someone out or you never seen MMA or studied martial arts. You just need to collapse the artery in the neck and prevent it from being unobstructed.

The right want to make a big deal about what Maxine Waters said....it has nothing to do with the trial just like the GOp argued in the impeachment hearing that those kind of words are not illegal as part of 1st Amendment :). be careful what you argue... it often comes back to bite you in the ass.

There's no reach.
1. This use of force is 3rd degree felony assault when used inappropriately
2. It was not appropriate for the officer to use this level of force at this time
3. Therefore the officer is guilty of 3rd degree felony assault

I strongly disagree. A congresswoman stoking chaos based on the outcome is a serious problem. You don't want the jury to feel threatened in any way.

As I said, with folks like you on the jury he does stand a chance of conviction on the murder charges due to Leftist emotions. ---But, he's certainly not guilty of those if the jury is doing their proper job.
