How in the hell is Ariozona's law unconstitutional? I missed the part where states couldn't check to see if people were illegals or not...
Also, the prisons profiteers stand to make no money by illegals being deported... They will never see a prison. They will stay in the jail until the next bus south (which there are many of). If there's any profiteering to be done it's by transport companies...

It violates the Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution, it can check but cant pass its own laws on immigration.

Interesting, I've always respected Judge Napolitano's opinions. The ones I know of anyway.
Sounds like AZ needs to call up the National Guard to secure it's border.

What immigration laws is it trying to pass? They are free to check for illegals, and deport them.
That's the whole issue, right? Left is pissing panties about AZ checking the status of suspected illegals, and deporting them if they are indeed illegal. What am I missing? How are they trying to "pass their own laws on immigration"?

I always thought i read somewhere that the state could not deport illegals, only the federal government has the authority to do that
Arizona doesn't deport them. They turn them over to the Feds.
