Jtrader/XP errors

only other guess I have is that XP does not come with Java, and JTrader is probably java based, given it's name.Originally posted by trader777
Upgraded to xp and now when I try to run Jtrader I get a blank login window. I have deleted the program files but I don't even get prompted to reinstall them. My computer meets specs as I was running it before.

you'll have to install Java from java.sun.com yourself.
It looks like Jtrader is a browser based product. Your problem is with the IE upgrade.
Either- you have a clean version of the new IE and need to download java support for it.
Or your IE was merely upgraded and you are still attempting to use the old java plug-ins. Try downloading java.

If your broker wants to make money, he better should find a solution to this problem. Refco is very funny, they simply say: Win XP not supported. ( www.pmbinc.com/proptraderspecifications.htm )
