The day started with a lot of doing nothing. NQ went into cardiac arrest for 1,5 hours.

Good patience today while waiting for the correct setup.
Just one trade short when it broke out of the mush area. It found support on a previous resistance area. Normally I would have remained short but since this is a big upday, I covered. (and while I'm typing this I just noticed it's going through the sup area, oh well)
The original stoploss was 4436.25 (the rest is in the activity log)
On average slightly less than 10 points per contract so profit will be ~+ $760

Traded the first 2,5 hours of the session. Too much to put on a chart. I was having a nice up cycle and hence looking for longs. Long never materialised though. It turned into smaller swings / sideways action. On three occasions I let a good profit go breakeven, hoping for the bigger swing up to kick in. (that's part of the plan btw). Was slightly down at a certain point but ended the day sligthly up. (expected profit ~ +$55)

I followed the plan today, so automatically that makes it a good day imo. (whatever the P/L)

Can't trade tomorrow, and I'm not sure what to expect with this Brexit vote coming up. So maybe even a two day break. We'll see.
Brokers are already nervous. I already received an e-mail about margin increases.

Anyway here's yesterday's statement: + $55.68

Note that the total $ value of the account is actually lower than yesterday.
This is due to the changing $/€ exchange rate. But it doesn't really bother me since the idea is to change $ into € and not the other way around. (I live in euroland)

Thursday seems to have become rule breaking day:thumbsdown:
This happens too often and needs to be fixed quickly.

Only traded the first 45min of the US open session.
My system said long but I was too eager to enter immediately after the open, which resulted in more loss than necessary.
It's the second time in this journal I increased size in a way not according to the rules and get away with it. A third time might end up into a real disaster :caution: so it's a big no no.
The only thing positive today is the fact that I kept my cool during the last trade and let it run to almost full potential.

No trading tomorrow for me.

Result for today will be ~+ $1,390

Sorry for having stopped updates.

I found this journal to give me a lot of unnecessary stress. Also the consistency to follow the rules is not what it should be and that is under revision. On top of that I will not be able to trade for a month due to my regular job hours that will overlap with the US session hours.

So I will continue this when I feel ready for it.
