Seriously... I only post in here with "TSGannGalt". No multiple alias. Mods, if you can confirm that please do that too. I usually post from 2 IP locations (home and office) but considering I'm in Japan I think it won't be hard to confirm I'm the only person posting in ET from those IPs.

I'm kind of put off by being accused of being a criminal, though. But, I see it over and over. The guy in the pair trader thread was being accused of being a sales guy for the "pair trade finder" software. Neke gets trashed by so many people. I don't know how they continue.
It could just be that these sorts of topics (trading) are just not good for open discussion. Every thread gets jacked. We get a C-Kid/Jason every night.

Dude, you may still be pretty junior but you brought this about yourself. You were warned not only by TsGannGalt to be careful about proudly telling everyone that you trade while you were prohibited from taking certain postions by company policy. Then you clearly mentioned you "re-engineered" (what you mean with that is not entirely clear to me) code and took it for your own benefit against company policy as well. Do whatever you want, its your own conscience you have to live with but to proudly state it you are either pretty naive or you better make damn sure none of any of your work-related people read your posts.
I worked with TsGannGalt in the same company (completely different groups, we both traded though) and I am not gay (he may, but I dont think so ;-) and I am certainly not him, to my knowledge he has been posting here for years while I just joined recently. I understand his last post, I would react in the same way if I contributed here for many years and need listen to this bs each and every single time.

There's nothing wrong with using posting tactics to people. I do it. If you're trying to drill down on someone else's post or idea, we all do it. I'm pretty sure propseeker has done it unintentionally or not.

The strategy I posted to this blog was what I worked on during a graduate level thesis. It was already cleared by my old manager in advance of working on it, and approved by legal so I could stay out of hotwater. The new firm gave me a pass because the idea was in a different asset class and not relevant to their business model.
