What is a risk management system?

A default risk parameter(it's completely objective, but not fixed value) and fall back to exit a trade. There's an optimal way and place to take a loss in general. This is based on 26 years of data (although did not back test every single day) Still took the most bullish, bearish and neutral times throughout to get a solid sample size.


What's your entry trigger? What do you need to see to enter the market?

Just like like you pre-empted me earlier. I am going to pre-empt you and say I am sure you'll call BS, but don't want to completely explain every detail and just give it away. Not sure why I would do that? Yes, aware trading is a lot of about experience and skill too. None the less, I summarized like you asked.

I responded in under 20 minutes for your first question and this one in under like 30 minutes. Yes, you beat me some of your responses are in under 15 minutes and sometimes under 3. Fully admit you win in replying faster, you got me.

I don't think you're keeping it close to the vest... I think you're punting visually off charts. I believe you're 100% discretionary, but not in a good way as in deep knowledge based upon ed and experience.

LOL. Yes, if he says he never met a long term profitable day trader of index futures I believe him. It's of no consequence to me either way, but interesting nonetheless. It was surprising to me that the number was zero, though.

Generally, I don't think institutional or professional traders are directionally day trading indexes off charts.

Of course most of them aren't. Thats clear just by talking or trading with them even loosely. They are good at what they specialize in or at the very least for some of them good at making connections. Thing is poopy doesn't even think it's possible at all. I am completely shocked at the amount of misinformation regarding d1 trading on this forum. EliteInvestor would be a much more appropriate name. Not even joking.

Ok well my entry criteria is 100% objective. My risk management while not a fixed value is also 100% objective. The only discretionary thing is I don't always take every setup due to the filter.

If you're confident that information is incorrect and that I am just punting. That's excellent, nice analysis skills.
