Journal XburbX - My Plan

Just finished reviewing the charts for the day. I think all the focus I have is 1 more day this week. I am exhausted and I will be see candles and lines in my dreams.

Today was ok. 5 trades. 2 small winners 3 losers. small loss day. The winners were winners but just didnt take off enough. No big deal. I can control my loss but I can't control the markets :)

Rn - I will review the stuff you fired off to me. I just didnt have the brain capacity today to really give it the time it deserves. I plan on reviewing this weekend

To clarify 'what price needs to do'

This is and should be a sticking point so I want to dig deeper, to see if it's my thought process or the language I'm using. I get both are important.

What if I said:

After I put a trade on, if I see price 'do this' it validates my position (at least long enough to hold for my initial profit target at this exact moment). Subsequently, if it does not I may exit a position sooner than my hard stop or for a scratch.

Still too much thinking?

But as long as you know (not believe.. or think) but know – to your very core


That price is the leader/ top dog/ end all be all

And we are simply its humble and obedient bitches/ servants/ followers

No matter how much, or how often – we win

We never know how far price can/ will move

We can never control.., influence…, or sway price

You must also know this

Price will test you (us) – every flippin day we trade

Know these things – you are good…

Any smiggin of doubt whatsoever – will manifest itself in a big ass loser / losers

And cause you to have to start completely over


It will quickly become a vicious ass loop – and one that’s hard to stop – please trust me on this


Thinking/ believing is not required Sir - knowing - absolutely is

Most regard Livermore as a great trader – in the end he shot himself

I’ll not speculate as to why – but I can surmise he held price in a somewhat less regard – than what he should have


It is a vicious a loop
