Tintin - what is the idea of this thing?

Just to download historical data?

Then why is it called "ATS"?

Write a bit more on what it does; then I think you will get more feedback.

The CVS tree with only a tarball ? Do you know what CVS is made for ? And in the tarballs, no README, or a small startup.bat/sh...
Why losing time in putting this on SF and here if it's unusable except for the author of the code ?
 
I looked thru it - it is not bad code.

But it could do with just a half page of what this is and what it does.

JOpenATS-0.0.6 - I actually couldn't figure out what it does - other than it download historical data. It doesn't seem to place an order - which makes it sort of a passive ATS.

WARNING USE EXCLUSIVELY WITH YOUR PAPER TRADING ACCOUNT.
You have to uncomment the following line in ActorTrader.java to run
the sample strategy.
// ATS ats = new ATS("loadTest01", clientFacade, loadTest);
The sample strategy buy or sell the same position each 5 seconds.

Use exclusively your paper trading account.
