John's Intraday Market Analysis

I got out around 736 using a stop on the small retrace, my internet connection went out,,,,seems like the worst case scenario happens all at once, but I shaved off some of the loss from my stupid short.
I should listen to what I type,,I wrote bullish all day, I said dub bottom, I got sucked into the 10'O clock revesal, and then we got a pop right after that on the bernanke speach and bond reaction.

We still got er2 resistance @ 740, YM is long gone. I think we got more short covering tommorow and that could pop ER2 higher.
ER2 support 735.4, 732. I'll be looking to buy dips unless support levels break (depending on how market stats are).

I feel your pain dude, lived it post to post. $400 win yesterday -2k today. Happens to us all. Think of all the positive things you learnt today, thats all the thought you need to give.

er2 in 2.5pt range, 739.5-742. SMH starting to build support, waiting for price to cross 200ma. Market 5:4 bullish, amex and NQ stronger. Watching for breakout, could be choppy day, has been for last 1.5hrs.
 
ER2 and AMEX are strongest today, nyse and YM weakest today. ER2 trend up, YM real choppy, SMH trend down but may have hit LOD. It looks pretty range bound, and if you had taken longs on the low tick and faded the high tick, you would be trading spot on.

we just got a tick low, so I went with the trade and it worked out. To bad I didn't hold my short on the tick high from earlier down to this point. The TICK works great on range days like this. I really need to work on days like yesterday.

that wasn't me that popped it up.

market stats still the same, a little bullish, guessing we won't end at the high but 2/3 up the daily candle.

SMH may be at reversal point. SOH currently.
