All of this is irrelevant. If they are working here illegally, that takes jobs from legals thus reducing wages for legals by illegitimately flooding the labor market. If they are illegal, they should have to leave, period. After all it's illegal. If they want to work legally, they should have to go through the process of all the other legal immigrants undergo. If you want to argue for reform of immigration policy, that's one thing. Defending an illegal immigration epidemic is a different story.
If these were wealthy Mexicans who were here on their own means that were spending their own money which were here illegaly because they simply overstayed their visa no one would care. They wouldn't be negatively affecting the labor market, or being economically parasitic. That's not the case, however. We have over 10% unemployment- we don't have generosity to spread...
