Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters, one of the most outspoken members of the anti-Trump ‘resistance’ in Congress, is facing fresh questions about a longstanding controversy regarding how her campaign raises money and how those funds have flowed to her daughter.
The California congresswoman has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars each election cycle from some of her state’s biggest politicians paying to be listed on her slate mailers—sample ballots traditionally mailed out to about 200,000 voters in Los Angeles highlighting whom she supports.
Since 2004, the campaign in turn reportedly has paid $750,000 to the congresswoman’s daughter, Karen Waters, or her public relations firm Progressive Connections for help producing them.
A government watchdog in July filed the first of two complaints with the Federal Election Commission asking for a full audit of the Citizens for Waters campaign.

In 2005, Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., was added to a liberal watchdog’s running list of the most corrupt members of Congress. Waters was added again in 2006 to the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington’s annual report on D.C. corruption. They added her again in 2009 and one more time in 2011.
The group may want to consider saving a spot for Waters for its upcoming report for 2018.
The congresswoman’s daughter, Karen Waters, is set to collect more than $200,000 for heading a slate mailer operation for her mother’s 2018 re-election campaign, the Washington Free Beacon reported, citing new Federal Election Commission data:

Waters is a disgrace to the congress, corrupt to the core and a nutcase demagogue who encourages violence against Trump officials. Cuck House republicans swallowed her outrageous behavior for years, but they couldn't wait to vote to punish Steve King for being an admirer of western civilization and seeking to preserve it.
One thing that is mind boggling about Maxine, is that she does not even live in the district that she represents. I am not talking about one of these arrangements where someone lives here part of the year and there another part so there is dispute. Nope. Her district in one place and she lives somewhere else.
So she promotes the Dem Plantation in the district she represents but has a mansion elsewhere.
That ain't right. It might be legal but it ain't right.
