All of you cleverly dodge the issue. Jack's vaunted and long awaited software doesn't tell you when to trade. It merely facilitates what was already subject to whim.

Where exactly do you find ambiguity in the use of operands? "Less Than, Greater Than or Equal To" all sound pretty straightforward to me.

Indeed they are simple. But the interpretational crayolaing to make those comparisons is far from simple. That's why you can't code it. Whenever I post a hard system, you guys always say "You left money on the table", without any algorithmic proof that you could have done better. My systems are designed to minimize whipsaws, use tight entry stops for the inevitable errors, and are testable. And they are absolutely unambigupus with no discretion whatsoever required.

What is there to interpret? Volume is or is not less than, greater than or equal to, the comparison. I realize it is unfathomable that you have placed your focus incorrectly on an aspect which you feel produces ambiguity, but I have already pointed you in the correct direction.

Well, I tell you things all the time, and you fail to listen. Do you mean to say you find such an occurance shocking, or better yet, surprising, when these specific character traits are viewed in other programmers? :D

You guys are impossible. Nothing ever sticks to you. I do not ever recall seeing anyone code up SCT for hard long/short calls. If you can't, then it means the method is discretionary and makes it suspect that the reasons you SAY you trade it are not the reasons it works (if it does) at all. Ask Jack. He knows NLP. NLP was spawned out of just such circumstances.

I agree. Nobody has ever posted such code as you describe for SCT type trading. However, a couple of mates from 'Down Under' posted their automated code for Equities long ago (in one of my Journals). After answering a few questions, they promptly went off to earn their money - unencumbered by the drama of ET. :D
